21st Century Technology For Your Million Dollar Smile
As part of an ongoing commitment to our patients, we have outfitted our office with state-of-the-art technology unequaled in many other dentistry offices. Very few dentists in the country have access to, or the skill to use, the type of high-tech equipment necessary to implement a true smile makeover.
Following are just some of the state-of-the-art instruments with which we are proficient:
Cerec 3D...Brand new technology just available!
Over the past few years, innovation in dentistry has advanced treatment options considerably. New technology helps diagnose problems earlier. This allows dentists like me to treat problems with "kinder and gentler" techniques. Our new instrument, called CEREC 3D, allows me to complete a ceramic tooth restoration in one visit instead of two, saving you time and inconvenience. This technology uses tooth-colored material, so your smile won't be discolored by silver-colored filings.
Computer Controlled Local Anesthetic Delivery System
This innovative machine allows the dentist to deliver local anesthetic at precise pressure that is custom controlled to each patient, which results in a controlled, effective, and comfortable injection. Many patients at Dr. Scheele's office report little or no pain with this revolutionary design.
Intra-Oral Camera
This micro-mini camera takes precise photos of the back teeth and gums, which is projected on a wall-mounted television screen, allowing patients and Dr. Scheele to see decay, cavities, or receding gum lines. With this new technology, patients can make better-educated decisions regarding their dental procedures.
Soft-Tissue Laser
This instrument treats many periodontal (gum) problems non-surgically, allowing for quicker healing and superior results. Contouring excessive gum tissue in one visit can be done to correct "gummy smiles" and dramatically improve overall dental health.
Computer Imaging System
Computer imaging can illustrate potential end results of a completed smile makeover. Patients are allowed to see their new smile before dental procedures occur, also helping patients make better decisions regarding their dental choices.
Laser Detection System
This laser diagnoses hidden decay much more quickly and comfortably than traditional methods. This system allows Dr. Scheele to locate decay much more accurately and precisely.
Multimedia Patient Education System
This system helps educate patients of cosmetic and general dental topics. By use of video and audio equipment in our office, our staff works consistently to inform patients of relevant, useful dental information.
